Milla-Maija Saari & Sara Vaali : Muistatko vielä sen muovin tuoksun (Do you still remember the smell of that plastic)
Combination of artists’ memories and parts of the previous works take you to the moments of childhood, to the beaches. The artwork is built around the conversation of these: how did everything feel back then, when there was sand between the toes and swimsuit was always packed just in case? The installation, an abstract beach landscape, contains cyanotype images printed on recycled textiles, dried kombucha mushrooms and crushed stone.
